    How about going off the beaten track to where most people can’t get to? This wine tour is done with a 4×4 vehicle and we drive up into the Vineyards to some vantage points with beautiful scenery of the different Wineland areas. We will show you the sights and tell you the stories and history before we go down to the Cellar to do the tastings.

Typical Itinerary will look as follows but can change depending on pick-up point and availability.

  1. 9:30  - Collection at your Guesthouse. We will then depart for our first Wine experience at Mont Rochelle Wine Estate in Franschhoek. We will drive to the top of the vineyards on the slopes of the Mountains from where we will have a fantastic view over Franschhoek and the Mont Rochelle Wine estate. Here we will give you some information and history about the region. We will then go down to the Cellar for a Wine tasting.
  3. 11:00 We will then depart to Stellenbosch where we will do another tasting at Zorgvliet Wine estate after driving to the Mountain Braai Boma against Simonsberg, with stunning views overlooking the Banhoek Valley.
  5. 12:00 We will do a scenic drive through Stellenbosch to Warwick wine estate in time for a Big 5 Wine safari at 13:00. This includes a short drive through the vineyards, up to the Penthouse with fantastic views over the Stellenbosch area, followed by a wine tasting of Warwick’s finest.  After the safari, you will have time to relax and have a picnic at Warwick around the lake.
  7. After lunch we will depart back towards your Hotel, and if time allows, we will do another tasting at a farm en route before dropping you of at approximately 17:15 at your guesthouse.
  8. During the tour you will experience the natural beauty of the Winelands, learn about the culture, history and wines of this area and experience a unique day out.
